4ws.Sync is a software solution allowing an application to replicate data, structures and the application itself between central and remote installations, even in a multilevel scenario.

With 4ws.Sync your applications can work in offline mode when they cannot be used online.

4ws.Sync allows data synchronization when on-line mode is available, following rules easy to configure.
In this way a remote user ( salesman, technician…) can operate with portable devices directly from home or at a customer' s site without an internet connection, and synchronize data afterwards, where the connection is available.

* Currently a plug-in supporting Oracle is available. Other are being developed for the most popular platforms. Soon will be released a plug-in supporting MS Sql Server and Postgres .

You can choose your 4ws.Sync from 3 distributions:

1. “Central site installation” – installed at the central site, it allows to define centrally which data structures, data and applications will be replicated to peripheric sites.
2. “Remote site installation – MULTI USER” – installed at a peripheric site, it allows to connect with the central site in order to replicate data, data structures and applications from it, and replicate data both ways; this distribution of 4ws.Sync is optimized for mult-user environments and can work like a “central” site relative to a number of installations which need a second level replication.
3. “Remote site installation – STAND ALONE” – installed in a usually isolated peripheric workstation, like a notebook or a pocket PC, it allows to connect to a peripheric site in order to replicate data structures and applications from it, and replicate data both ways; this distribution of 4ws.Sync is optimized for a local, single-user environment and must be used for second-level replications.

4ws.Sync can work in both On-line and Off-line mode, providing data synchronization in a safe, secure way. The user (salesman, technician…) can use a portable device at home or at a customer' s site, without an internet connection, and perform data synchronizations with the central site once again online.
